APPLETON, Wis., Nov. 12, 2004-Laminations, part of Great Northern Corporation's Specialty Group, will feature its new Extruded VBoard® in booth #4333 at the 2005 West Pack Exposition & Conference, January 10-12, at the Anaheim convention Center, Anaheim, Calif.
Extruded VBoard is made from strong, weatherproof extruded plastic and provides exceptional protection against product damage during shipping and storage. It takes up less space and provides tighter tolerances than paper edge protections without sacrificing strength. It is 100 percent waterproof and features a glossy black, high-quality finish.
The durable Extruded VBoard® is the perfect edge protection for produce, steel, lumber and outdoor storage markets. It also offers superior performance for product transport on flatbed trucks.
Standard sizes are available in leg lengths of 1.75" x 1.75" and 2.5" x 2.5" with calipers of 0.060", 0.090" and 0.120". Custom-extruded shapes can be developed for large-volume applications.
In addition to Extruded VBoard, Laminations is displaying its family of traditional VBoard® edge protectors, which are made by laminating recycled paperboard into rigid right-angle shapes. VBoard provides superior edge protections as well as load stabilization and package integrity and comes in a variety of configurations that solve packaging and protection problems simply and cost-effectively.
